    Pros

Leadership staff in some programs are excellent at what they do, forthcoming, and honest. Flexible with staff schedules

    Cons

From a management perspective: recruitment is conducted by separate staffing agencies that have terrible work ethic and recruit at the last minute for any class. No active recruitment, hiring from craigslist postings or walk-ins. Staffing agencies lack any real motivation or ability. Attrition is exceptionally high due to poor recruitment, variable pay scale, and generally poor morale. This is attributed most frequently to the supervisor level of leadership as a scapegoat.

    Pros

The employees and management are very nice. The type of work is easy and the Industry is interesting. No weekends. A good starter job.

    Cons

Low pay on a performance based rating scale. (.ie 9.50, 10.00, 10.50, 11.00, and 12.00) the company is very cheap and encounters numerous system issues on a daily basis. They won't even invest in good equipment, nor in their good people. Salary/hourly pay is not competitive compared to other companies. No annual raises. The work environment is below standard. No state of the Art...nothing. Employees purchase their own supplies. Constant contractor turnover because the company has great demands, but doesn't want to pay or barely bends at all for its people. Upper management is getting paid really well. This is apparent by the fancy suits and cars they drive, but their employees are barely making it based on the pay they get. No cost of living raises. No annual bonuses and profit sharing.

    Advice to Management

Talk to your people and find out why you have so much turnover. I think you know, and you just don't care. It's all about the money that you are not willing to invest in your people, the environment in which they work, the refurbished and out dated equipment they use, and even the broken headsets. Your employees are struggling to make it financially week to week. They have families and financial obligations that they are struggling to meet. But, I'm sure your paycheck is just fine.

I have been working at Convergent full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Cool people to work with and easy to commute. We are always eating and having parties.

    Cons

Unorganized, they change rules constantly, they changed our pat rate before we could even make it, the pay is a sliding scale. Supervisors don't know what they are doing. Management are ti busy in everybody's face.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to manage your staff. Learn the work you are telling your staff to do. Get organized.

    Pros

    Cons

Drama in Client Services. The lead is immature and talks bad about others. is very smart but not the best leader.

Don't allow family members to work in the same office. Client Service lead and her mom both work in the office, as well as a Clerk and her sister.
