    Pros

Great management team, training, and cohesiveness within HR. Salary was good.

    Cons

Don't feel CVG fought to get more business in our location. Annual reviews sucked. Executive management wanted to keep all the money form themselves.

    Advice to Management

More communication is great. Listen more to onsite teams. Will help in getting things done the first time around. Executive Team could react to issues reported earlier.

    Pros

Friendly Coworkers, Schedule Preference, OT available, Most of the customers are great to get along with as well

    Cons

Convergys looks for any reason to layoff employees. I've seen the best employees laid off for reasons that were ridiculous

    Advice to Management

Stop firing your best workers and your company would be better off.

    Pros

the pay advances when you surpass the sales goals are decent. the scheduling system allows for time off allotments with ease.

    Cons

The stipulations on how to reach the sales goals and receive bonus pay continued to become unattainable with every mont i was employed there. the management are not capable of leading their site and are not qualified to lead a group of people. management participates in favorites and un-ethical activities that they cover up through the management hierarchies. there is not set company rules and most rules are site based and by word of mouth. this company needs more structure and maybe a hand book on the job particulars.

    Advice to Management

management should practice mangement skills or be required to go through a in dept training so that they are aware of what is asked of there team and can actively assist when issues arrive.

    Pros

It's a large organization, lots of opportunities to gain experience in several areas. You can pretty much run with what you wish to do if you have the nerve. People are friendly once you can figure out who you need to call to try to get something taken care of. HR leadership is pretty good, but communication needs to improve so everyone can understand what's really going on with the company. Upper management is well-intentioned; but the information or direction doesn't always flow to the rest of us. Overall, not a bad place to work, I've had much worse..

    Cons

At my level the right hand never knows what the left hand is doing. No company directory to figure out what department does what beyond the obvious. A lot of time is wasted trying to determine who has the information or job function, then trying to get the information from them. It's not mean spirited, just a lot of apathy from people that are overworked and don't have time to care. Frequent downsizings, no one feels stable. Online training available but nothing that would specifically help increase an employee's knowledge base. Zero dollars available for outside employee training. Employees must be willing to pay for their own seminars and learning opportunities to keep skills current

    Advice to Management

Stop pretending they don't understand why they have so much turnover. The call center agent job is a horrible one; with mandatory overtime and someone calculating how long employees are gone to the bathroom. Give some meaningful rewards rather than just throwing a few dollars for food at them occassionally. Give the supervisors and managers training instead of just putting them in a job. Undo the beaurecracy that makes it difficult for professionals to do their jobs and share information with others so everyone can succeed. If an employee is not located in Cincinnati it's next to impossible to find out anything.
