    Pros

    - Great Work. - Good Pay. - Consistant schedule. - Relatively Easy work.

    Cons

    - Things change. Fast... No I mean like hourly. - Almost impossible standards that it's pretty clear the client doesn't even hold themselves too. - There is almost no workplace standard. You will work with some real scumbags and thieves. Convergys don't care.

    I worked at Convergys full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Benefits were ok. Large site and very well maintained along with a great cafeteria.

    Cons

    Operations managers were uneducated but yet pretend to know everything. Changes on a daily basis. Metrics are out of your control and some were unrealistic.

    Advice to Management

    Communication is key.

    I have been working at Convergys full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Relaxed atmosphere, friendly co-workers, and decent benefits. Plus, they have generous time-off policies and ample overtime available

    Cons

    Low pay, not a lot of choice in schedules, and some poor tools to work with on the job. You have to arrive five minutes before your shift to be ready.

    Advice to Management

    Pay the help better and give them better tools to use. Don't make them enter three different passwords just to log in for a shift

    easy job its a call center with advancement just don't miss a day work and be there on time all the time hiring process is really quick

    Cons

    stressful customers can talk to you how every they want to nd you cant do nothing about it and you have no life when you work there

    I worked at Convergys full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Full-Time work. The training will give you the ability to perform the job without any prior knowledge to technical abilities. Holiday pay. Pay for performance = the better you do, the more you make. Direct management are super friendly and easy to get along with. The attendance uses a point system. You get 12 points for a full 365 day year. There are attendance incentives that give you .5 points back for a full month of perfect attendance as well as a $0.40 raise every May-Oct and Oct-May for perfect attendance. There is over time available most days. You get 16 hours of unpaid time off every quarter and 3.5 hours of paid time off every 2 weeks.

    Cons

    The company does not have sick days or holidays off. Your schedule may change at any time, even within 2 hours of your shift starting. The turn-over rate is very high. You are given 30 days to fix any issues you have to meet strict call flow requirements.

    Advice to Management

    Great management. The only advice that I feel would be appropriate would be to allow more schedule choices and provide sick days. Even just 8 days a year would be great

    Pros

    Pays...well enough I guess? for someone that needs money, it does a decent job. better than working at mcdonalds thats for sure.

    Cons

    Mandatory overtime? They never stated that in the contract. False promises about a lot of things including benefits. Turn over rate is huge, they will milk you until you are sick and tired of the job. A measly 2 weeks PTO, thats if they don't force you to take it because call volume is low. Overall, they treat their employees like crap and don't have respect for them as human beings. they will just but these arbitrary numbers out there and you need to reach that goal or else you'll eventually get fired once call volumes get too low.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on the employees morale, stop trying to meet the bottom line every quarter. Think long term instead of short term, happy employees = productive employees = profit for company = more money for employees = happy employees. stop running the company on quarterly capitalism.

    Goods benefits, training, easy to succeed with potential to move up fast

    Cons

    The shifts if can handle late night 3-12 am this is a good job

    Advice to Management

    Set shift expectations u say to be flexible but the company was not. They list a good in training because of this

    pick better team leaders perhaps some that do all color of the skin not just white black people there get mo room for growth they just simply get ignored

    Pros

    most team members and tss (team supervisors) are helpful and try to make the job tolerable. Product is decent and training was fun and most trainers are kind.

    Cons

    upper management is aweful! Nothing matters except numbers, so they can make their bonus structure. They do not do anything as promised and do not give pay increases or bonuses to techs for months after the fact. The network goes down every night after midnight even though its 24hr a day tech support. They schedule single parents at all hours and shifts they feel like, and there are no exceptions made unless they are personal friends. They promise alot, expect even more and give nothing in return. The turnover rate is insane. Most people leave within the first couple of weeks because of horrible policies. If AT&T only knew how their accounts were being handled, convergys would be sued, fired, and blacklisted!

    Advice to Management

    Stop mistreating and lying to staff. It's not only unfair to them, but its shameful to treat people with such disrespect. Hopefully someone will read this and look into the way this company is being ran. It could and should be a decent company to work for.

    I have been working at Convergys full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Free education benefits were a real boon. They would let you take classes and defer payment until you could pass the tests and then the payment was done.

    Cons

    Hours varied day to day, shifts sometimes left with 3-5 hours to be back at work and I had to commute to get there. Management rode employees hard about being on time (to work, breaks, and leaving() and Team Leaders were seldom available when needed to assist customers.

    Advice to Management

    I believe spending less time working on metrics and more time spent working on the clients issues and fixes would benefit both the client and Convergys's bottom line.
