I have been working at Convergys full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Showing up is reward because half workers end up leaving within 6 months, benefits are mostly paid by employees paycheck

    Cons

what is commission 1 month is not next month, favorites get promoted, new company keep talking about pay raise but still wiating after year,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need payraise after 2 year, more open calls for promotions instead favorites,

    I worked at Convergys

    Pros

Ability to work from home. Other than that, there really were no pros. Maybe the scheduling if I had to stretch for another pro.

    Cons

Software used with company continuously crashed and their answer was for me to change my ISP.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees with a little more respect. Without them you wouldn't have a company.

I have been working at Convergys full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

It was easy to get hired.

    Cons

High stress and micromanagement throughout the call center. Unrealistic expectations set in numerous metrics that seem purposely complex and changed quite regularly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want the reps to get handle time down because it is such a big deal, then quit pushing Clarify so much. Clarify is of little use, it is poorly designed and therefore - flawed.

    Pros

    Got a Paycheck every week.

    Cons

Literally everything about this place is a CON. I worked at the Lake Mary location for a high tech client, they treated everyone like garbage and hired based off the fact that you were a person, no technical interview process at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Wake up and start treating everyone with respect and maybe you could be ore than the McDonald's of IT.

    Pros

working from hom is the good thing

    Cons

They don't let you see your sales report every month. They don't pay enough and they don't pay you your incentives. Not a good company to work for. They never want to answer your questions and keep passing the buck. Insurance prices more than what you make. Their clock in and out system is horrible and they steal your time off your time sheet

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop stealing our time and pay ppl their incentives

I worked at Convergys full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

The attendance system is not lenient, but convenient and simple.
Depending on the project, you can earn $10-12 an hour. Which isn't much but when overtime (1.5) is available, it was typically unlimited so you could work as much as you'd like.

    Cons

It was a very 'high-school' atmosphere.
During the slow times of the year they would cut hours without advanced notice.
The rules and procedures constantly changed and no one was ever informed, therefore you would get written up for doing things the way you were taught.
I was given extra tasks with the promise of incentives that were never given.
This was months ago but they still "haven't found my final paycheck".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you are going to offer incentives, follow through.
Send mass emails with new procedures.
Train all Team Leaders, it was extremely obvious the ones who were never trained.

I have been working at Convergys full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    No commute work at home.

    Cons

The things you're traibedon change constantly, their "help desk" barely speaks English and can never figure out the problems so they blame it on your internet. No one on one coaching, multiple system issues daily where tools stop working. Having to sit and listen to customer inappropriatly touching themselves or cursing you out and belittling you because you can not release calls. They fire everyone which leaves us understaffed and not able to take earned paid time off.

    Pros

Will hired anyone.. There is nothing good to say about this place. Everything is horrible. The pay, benefits, time off, if don't have FMLA before u work here ..u will need it after

    Cons

If negative stars were an option they would be negative infinity to the 1000 power. If anyone sa
ys simmering good they are lieing. I would rather clean the toilets at white castle. I can't even put into words the distain I feel for this company. My old "boss" took a demotion to get out. Beware

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Grow up u seriously suck. Treat people like they are less than human. I hate u. And hate no one more or at all for that matter. That is all
