I worked at Cooley Group part-time for more than 3 years
Pros – They make fabrics that some people may want to purchase.
Couple of cute girls in the office.
Headquarted 10 minutes north of Providence.
(1) hour lunch.
Cons – no comissions due to "not making your divisions inflated, sales number."
They go through people, like no other company, and they do not care about you.
What they sell are now all commodity items.
Prices are very high.
Advice to Senior Management – Should feel very lucky that the "Bank of RI "does not know the "real numbers".
Keep the employees that really work.
Hire new HR person with a smaller size ass, that wants to help employees, not management.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I worked at Cooley Group
Pros – It's a job and provides a paycheck.
Cons – Worked 6-7 days /week, 10-12 hours a day. Absolutley no appreciation for effort from Management. This company goes through exempt individuals, including Sr. Management very quickly. I would negotiate for extra consideration and have my next career step in mind before I went to work for these folks. The most unethical company I have ever worked for!
Advice to Senior Management – Instead of blaiming the exempt folks you get rid of, consider that the problem might instead rest with the Sr. Management that are constantly changing focus and just using and mis-using people.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
