    Pros

Having started in customer service the opportunities for training is vast.
    Great pay and benefits.
Support from management in seeking advancement in employment and personal growth.

    Cons

With strict rules in place since the merger with Eaton it has made it difficult to further a career with the company and though I have years of experience with the company and management has been very supportive I am unable to be a candidate for other areas of employment without a Bachelors degree.

    Advice to Management

Continue to encourage employees to reach for their goals!

  3. It was a pretty good place to work but can get laid off easily.

    I worked at Cooper Crouse-Hinds

    Pros

It was a good job if you're more of a loner or just like working by yourself. You have ear plugs in all day and just pack parts. It's really simple but you do need to pack a lot so you can't really slack off. You get a ten min break before your lunch break then you get a twenty minute lunch break.

    Cons

The job was very repetitive. You just stand there for 8 hours and count parts and pack parts. Makes for a long boring day sometimes.

    Pros

A solid company that compensates well.

    Cons

numbers oriented public company. Layoffs are by department not based on performance or even common sense sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Keep your "A" Players. Sometimes losing a little money now to make more later MAKES SENSE... but perhaps not to indifferent shareholders, hence the problem of any public company.
