    Pros

Copart is a very stable company that has a ton of opportunities to make an impact on the productivity and profitability of the company. The company has gone through several several strategy changes recently and as a result there were some unplanned layoffs. This has affected the morale of the personnel, but kudos to the management team for learning from the mistakes and taking accountability.

    Cons

Need to embrace new comers and learn from the industry

    Advice to Management

Continue to be transparent about decisions.

Co-workers are great people to work with.

    Cons

Listed in the section below to Management.

    Advice to Management

Re-engage your people. Your getting too big too fast and and the ball is being dropped everywhere. You are no longer the leader in technology - so what do you have to stay ahead of the competition - nothing. You have many dissatisfied employees and don't have a clue what is being said behind closed doors. You promote customer service yet hire a bunch of unethical people to run CDS, you can't have it both ways. You put the yards in a very difficult situation of having to deal with these clowns. You may want to rethink transparency with your sellers. You promise the world and expect the yards to deal with it when the you have many flawed programs and policies. You create your own problems letting customers into your day to day business. You may want to open your eyes, the subhaul issue has been spreading across the country for some time. Contrary to what you believe subhaulers aren't all stupid and they aren't a dime a dozen. Nobody is going to keep working for you just because your Copart. For once try being proactive with something/anything, trying to fix everything on a case by case basis may save a few dollars up front but, it will cost you down the road. There are too many issues to address in this forum like Yard Security issues, space issues, no goals or objectives going into month four of the current fiscal year, GM review process, ever changing bonus plan, and disorganization at the corporate level like I have never seen before. For God's sake open your eyes.

    Pros

The worker bee engineers are an awesome group. If they had a little honorable management guidance this group could accomplish miracles. Some of the best minds I have worked with. Unfortunately management is clueless and self serving. This leads to a general malaise across all groups. Everyone is waiting to get laid off or fired

    Cons

Clueless Management that only care of covering their backsides. Decrepit Systems Planning is a joke. Here today and gone tomorrow. Think they spin the bottle to plan projects and timelines.

    Advice to Management

Honor is the best way to conduct a company. You are running out of vendors and employees as you have screwed them all over. Follow the systems you supposedly publish.
