I have been working at Copper Beech Townhomes

    Pros

My position allows me to have the weekends off. I also get to use social media as a basis for me to achieve my goals.

    Cons

Compensation seems to be equal to market competitors, however employee reviews are lacking, and innovation for efficiency that employees try to convey are often ignored. Not much room for advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Training and communication are key. Lack of training could easily be mistaken for laziness which leads to several issues. Team roles and accountability by all levels of staff and management could improve many things.

I worked at Copper Beech Townhomes

    Pros

My boss and coworkers were amazing. Work was simple. Meet new people and learn something about a country or a different language if you wanted to.

    Cons

The company started a new thing where they would laid-off anyone who wasn't a FT employee when I was there. They told us 2 days before it happened and we were off for 5 weeks. Another thing is that the company was changing their policies to be more like their Sister-companies, even though their policies were working in our office just fine.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider your employees before doing something durastic throughout the company. I would recommend that anyone looking for under 25 hours a week work at this company, but if you're looking for more hours (not full-time), don't waste your time.

I have been working at Copper Beech Townhomes full-time

    Pros

    - We have a close-knit leasing and management staff, which allows for everyone to feel comfortable even during our more stressful days in the office.
    - Great opportunity to move-up if you show a strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to the company.
    - While in school, management if more than willing to work around your school schedule. They understand that leasing consultants are there primarily for a job while in school.

    Cons

    - Can be difficult to take time off

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep doing what you're doing.

    - Friendly coworkers
    - Acceptable pay

    Cons

    - Company not as focused on key employee happiness
    - Small teams for large departments creates over worked and stressed employees
    - Management seems to rely too much on intimidating or scaring lower tier employees into getting work done

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Focus on employees! Employee happiness is the backbone to a good company
    - Bring new ideas to the table without dismissing immediately
    - Don't make fun of your employees at all. This happens a lot here

    Pros

You get a discount off of rent if you live there. It's usually students that live there from the local university.

    Cons

Very unorganized. Could have just been my office but they lost stuff everyday. I felt like I couldn't learn everything becasue there was an issue everyday that required everyone's attention.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get on them to be more organized.

I have been working at Copper Beech Townhomes

    Pros

I like to work for Copper Beech because of the actual role as a property manager. It's nice to know that, when you drive to work and you see your complex, you are running it and what you do at your level shows how well the property is doing.

    Cons

Unsatisfactory salary for good work. I feel they don't provide adequate compensation for employees that are hard workers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The way the business is being ran is beyond excellent! I think that the owners take a great responsibility in all of the company's issues. I would say keep up the great work in that aspect. My only downside is that they need to give employees what they deserve. If you have an employee that is doing a great job, pay them accordingly. Don't low ball them because you'll end up losing a great employee because they will be unsatisfied with their pay.
