I have been working at Copper Mobile full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Good office environment
    Easy access to the manegement
    Fun atmosphere

    Cons

There are some new cool clients that you can get to work with and your satisfaction and experience completely depends on the client project and your team lead.
Benefits are just okay, specially healthcare for family is expensive, individuals is great.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Now that the company has grown a lot, can we look at providing better benefits?

I have been working at Copper Mobile

    Pros

Copper Mobile provides better salary in terms of other companies. The work loads are not heavy. And mostly the work environment is good. If needed trainings will be provided and will relocated the candidates as required.

    Cons

The interview process were not properly managed. After an schedule of an interview. I received late notification that the interview has been canceled. After re-scheduling the interview the I had to wait for him to arrive. Even though I was not selected, after the couple of days I started to receive the application for Copper Mobile all over again.

I have been working at Copper Mobile full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    - Once you get to a client site, you tend to learn a lot and gain a lot of experience.
But that is all credit to your determination, and help provided by your team at the client site. Barely any help provided from Copper Mobile.

    Cons

    - Building fake resumes
    - No professionalism at all, not a productive environment to work within
    - Tends to be a gender discriminating environment, female and male employees do not get treated equally
    - Not considered a full time employee (billable employee) till you get a job at a client site, through your fake resume
    - PTOs, Vacation packages, Medical coverage are extremely meager

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please provide better support to employees on client sites. If there are not enough resources to help, please add additional resources. Being at a client site you are sometimes required to provide immediate results, and you might not have the time to wait a day or two to receive help.

An employee at the client site tries to do their best, but sometimes due to lack of prior experience it is not fully possible. Most of us are fresh graduates or have graduated within the past 2 years, with no prior work experience. So working in an environment where we are required to provide 4+ years of experience is a tough task to undertake. It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide better support in a timely fashion.

I have been working at Copper Mobile full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

-Highly inspiring leadership team and managers
-Very good processes, they give you a training on "CM Methodology" right after you join, kind of the southwest airlines model, where even as a developer they want you know what are the roles of various people in the company
-Honest & authentic communication internally and with customers
-transparent operationally, there are no secrets on what rate the SOW has for developers, how much the project margin is etc.. very inclusive in communication
    -growing very fast

    Cons

-even though we have this big booklet of processes, there are times when the process is not followed and we just get reasons for why it is not done
-I was assigned to a project where despite the process, there were steps that were missed, like no-documentation etc..

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It is time to scale the company, stay true to your dream of building the largest enterprise mobile development company. Keep it up.

I have been working at Copper Mobile full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

While Friday lunch is not one of the main reasons why I continue to work here, it is the most fun activity all week.
I like the culture of the company " Say what you would do and DO what said you would said"

    Cons

Now the company is growing fast so the opportunities to rise up the ladder may be limited, when compared with the period 3-4 years ago.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I love the continuous performance evaluations, trainings and top grading of people. This makes the hard working employees motivated and appreciated. Thanks!
