Great learning opportunity; pay for performance culture; personal growth potential.

    Operations (Current Employee) Somerset, NJ

ProsBase salary supplemented with no-cap MBO bonuses; usually 20-50% upside if you deliver. Full benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, education reimbursement, matching 401k. Great on the job training and exposure to very smart people. Early client contact and responsibility. Friendly people

Cons24x7 global support environment, so very demanding and focus on satisfying clients. High expectations. Some long days to meet deadlines or fix issues.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen and respond to employee feedback.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been with the company for 3 years

UNIX Administrator (Current Employee) Somerset, NJ

ProsSmall and warm environments with lots of hard-on opportunities. You will gain exposures to all oracle products and latest industry technologies and hardware. Great place to learn.

ConsWorkload is tough. Management is expecting you to be on-call all the time for whatever happened which is under your responsibility. Since the business is 365 x 24, you are expected to open your laptop if emergencies no matter 3am or Christmas Eve. Although there is a group of India team helping out, you still will be contacted if you are taking a leadership position.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease do not suggest to call employee during sleep time, weekend or holidays. No one can work around the clock and be standby all the time.

Great learning environment, poor professional environment

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Somerset, NJ

ProsThere are a plethora of opportunities to learn and excel in IT. As an Oracle Partner the company offers a great learning experience and knowledgable employees to train in Oracles process. The workload is there for those who seek it.

The company is trying to grow so it has potential to do very well, but needs some major improvements in their workplace environment if they want a successful group of employees. They are trying to change the environment but are not applying any consistency or successful methods.

ConsSlim to no positive feedback leaving employees feeling unimportant. Lack of communication. Even with the person sitting in the cubicle over. Communication within different departments is impossible. No one ever wants to do what they are supposed to do and complain when it's done wrong. Everyone is overworked and stressed, so good luck finding an employee there who says they love it.

Upper level management is extremely unprofessional from talking about other employees to their coworkers, to never even giving their employees a chance. Their most important thing is saving money, which not only impacts the employees and makes them feel undervalued, but also impacts the clients when the employee is unable to fill the clients need. No one tells you if there are aspects that need improvement, so it's difficult to excel. Recognition for hard work is barely there.

Rules for employees need to be across all aspects. It can't be acceptable for one to come
Into work at whatever time and day and then wrong for a different employee. If the company wants to do well, here needs to be a set of guidelines that all employees are expected to follow and if not they need to be written up. There is too much playing favorites and not enough consistency for anyone to be successful.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe more friendly. Give some positive feedback once in a while. If you appreciate something, show it, even if it's a thanks. You'll find your employees will be much happier.

If something is a high priority it needs to be told earlier.

Most importantly, follow what you wrote in your review and listen and respond to employee feedback. There's a reason everyone there is miserable.

    Disheartening but great for learning

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Somerset, NJ

ProsThe company is small enough to get to know all of your coworkers.

Most of the training is hands on, you are given work to do with clients almost immediately when joining.

ConsThere is a very high turn over rate, which not only impacts the training and work passed from person to person, but also impacts the clients and their outlook on the company, which comes back to hurt you in the end.

Raises and bonuses are few and far between, and although you work very hard, no one ever sees the positive side of your work.

There are not enough employees to be able to maintain a balanced work place. Everyone is always stressed, and nothing can be completed on time because there is too much work and not enough resources.

Advice to Senior ManagementSay thank you. Listen when someone says they are overloaded, and really try to help them (instead of just saying you will, and doing nothing).

This would be a great company to work for if there could be more communication between departments, less yelling when something goes wrong, and a management team that agrees on major project decisions without flip flopping day to day.

    Just o.k

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Somerset, NJ

ProsThe company provides great work and life balance. Some of the managers and employees are great to work with, and a great place to start up in one's career.

ConsLacks good management. Employees hardwork are not appreciated. You have to fight hard for promotion, salary increase or bonus, even though you deserve it.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet to know the employees more and give positive feedback once in awhile. It helps build employees moral and trust in leadership.
