    I worked at CoreLogic

    Pros

Definitely shorter hours. Everyone is gone by 5pm. Some kind people, for sure.

    Cons

So focused on removing costs to amplify shareholder value that the teams struggle to find the resources and capacity to create actual value.

    Pros

The upper management really wants to do what is best for their employees, but they fall short. I like to see that they did want to try. Good balance of life, again another place that they try.

    Cons

They need to refresh their managers. They offer them classes, but they need to make sure that they take those tools and put them in use with their teams.

I worked at CoreLogic full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Solid company with financial stability. Excellent products. Company head in Austin is amazing.

    Cons

There are some terrible management duds who just stay on forever. The corporate office has centralized too many functions in a way that adversely impacts local operations negatively because they lost the agility to respond to issues.

I worked at CoreLogic full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

They have the best data, hands down. There are still good opportunities, but they are only in certain segments and you won't jump into a good one from a bad one regardless of your talent level. You will go down with your ship.

    Cons

They used to have the best products and talent but most of the talent has left. Working out of the "mothership" is soul crushing. That place is a cubicle graveyard. Not much room for advancement, even with all of the people leaving. A lot of people jumped ship to title when the stock went public, but I do not know why.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop trying to move everyone to inside sales because it saves you money. Contact is still king in this digital world... Try to understand that when business drops, if you get rid of all of your top people you will have no one when business picks up. I realize there are stock holders to answer to, but why do companies always drop salespeople, the ones that create the revenue, when things slow down? I will never understand that.

    I worked at CoreLogic full-time

    Pros

I worked with data and loved the freedom that I had to own projects . The people in the company are fantastic to work with and the company is accommodating with work/life balance. The people are the most valuable resource here as they are willing to share their ideas if asked. Benefits are okay... not great and not bad.

    Cons

Company has been going through heavy cost reductions, for the sake of making the short term bottom line look good. Investment in growth opportunities ( Data Enhancements, New Products, Better Marketing Budget, etc.) is just as important and cost reduction.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Short Term Cost reductions only solves your problem temporarily... Invest in your employees and in your future. Reductions in your workforce are hurting your growth potential.

I have been working at CoreLogic full-time for more than a year

    Pros

If you do not want anything but a job this is it. Pros good hours. Benefits basic. , Some of the much higher management (not in office) very nice seems concerned.

    Cons

Never clear and concise directions. Policy structure very vague. No growth no open growth for employees. Management will only give the new positions to friends and no to the employees that proven from past that they do the work. If your not in with elect you will never be given any promotions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Talk to your employee not at them. If you not willing to transparent and honest then you shouldn't be in Management Leaders lead by example do not use your position to be vindictive and get back at people for wrongs that may or may not be valid. Don't abuse your authority. Don't make rules that your not willing to follow. Lead and Be a Leader not a controller,
