    Pros

I worked at CoreLogic full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Benefits, cool pay, 401k, vacation, seems like you can move up.

    Cons

We were a merge from BofA to them. They lied about taking our whole dept for a merger. July 2013 BofA sold us to them, sept 2013 we were told we were all being laid off.
Why make us go through all of the pomp and circumstance of paper work, getting references if you're just fire everybody in 3 mos? If they ever "merge" with your company please do yourself a solid and find another job IMMEDIATELY! The severance and the joke of unemployment benefits are not even worth it.

I have been working at CoreLogic full-time

    Pros

CoreLogic partners with Pivotal Labs for new product development and the company has a grand and ambitious strategy for the future, so there may be opportunity for personal growth if you are up to the challenge. Hard work and good performance are recognized and can pay off through small monetary awards. Coworkers are courteous and mostly easy to work with and managers are nice and mostly hands-off.

    Cons

Planning and scheduling are not done well so employees may need to work extra hard and even longer hours. Company's overly reliance on offshore, emails, and online meetings lead to non-productive and chaotic environment due to unclear, conflicting communications and delayed responds. Reducing cost, saving money, and optimizing resources (including humans) are the main objectives so count yourself lucky to still have a job and don't expect salary increase. No career growth unless you work there for a long time and bring values, manage politics well and fit in.

    Pros

Company is well adept to gaining data throughout the industry. Accepted as a leader in information for the Housing and Mortgage Industry.

    Cons

Company has gone down a different path related to some of the outsourcing business segments, choosing not to sell their services, but instead prepare them for sale.

    I worked at CoreLogic

    Pros

Definitely shorter hours. Everyone is gone by 5pm. Some kind people, for sure.

    Cons

So focused on removing costs to amplify shareholder value that the teams struggle to find the resources and capacity to create actual value.

I worked at CoreLogic full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The upper management really wants to do what is best for their employees, but they fall short. I like to see that they did want to try. Good balance of life, again another place that they try.

    Cons

They need to refresh their managers. They offer them classes, but they need to make sure that they take those tools and put them in use with their teams.

A once robust company has its eyes on very short term thinking, growth outlook is weak

    I worked at CoreLogic full-time

    Pros

I worked with data and loved the freedom that I had to own projects . The people in the company are fantastic to work with and the company is accommodating with work/life balance. The people are the most valuable resource here as they are willing to share their ideas if asked. Benefits are okay... not great and not bad.

    Cons

Company has been going through heavy cost reductions, for the sake of making the short term bottom line look good. Investment in growth opportunities ( Data Enhancements, New Products, Better Marketing Budget, etc.) is just as important and cost reduction.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Short Term Cost reductions only solves your problem temporarily... Invest in your employees and in your future. Reductions in your workforce are hurting your growth potential.

I worked at CoreLogic full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Solid company with financial stability. Excellent products. Company head in Austin is amazing.

    Cons

There are some terrible management duds who just stay on forever. The corporate office has centralized too many functions in a way that adversely impacts local operations negatively because they lost the agility to respond to issues.
