    All Over The Place

    Senior Account Manager (Former Employee)

ProsThey have the best data, hands down. There are still good opportunities, but they are only in certain segments and you won't jump into a good one from a bad one regardless of your talent level. You will go down with your ship.

ConsThey used to have the best products and talent but most of the talent has left. Working out of the "mothership" is soul crushing. That place is a cubicle graveyard. Not much room for advancement, even with all of the people leaving. A lot of people jumped ship to title when the stock went public, but I do not know why.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop trying to move everyone to inside sales because it saves you money. Contact is still king in this digital world... Try to understand that when business drops, if you get rid of all of your top people you will have no one when business picks up. I realize there are stock holders to answer to, but why do companies always drop salespeople, the ones that create the revenue, when things slow down? I will never understand that.

    – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    "Data" Company?

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

    ProsCasual dress code, nice campus.

ConsMajority of all work is outsourced to a Third Party company in India. To the point that they get all the non-urgent work first and only allow domestic employees to touch it if there is an issue they can't resolve by the deadline. Means far less jobs for US based employees. CoreLogic continues to buy other companies/competition just to destroy it and lay off the employees. Meanwhile, never evolving themselves. Employees are still using old, inferior technology. Simply ironic considering they are a "data" company. The only talent you need to have to keep your job is to be cheap, willing to go without raises for years, and don't mind using 20 different systems all with different user name/password structures just to do your job.

Advice to Senior ManagementSometimes retaining good talent is worth the cost, as well as investing in some technology that will help your employees work faster. Then, maybe you could afford domestic workers rather than outsourcing everything.

    Not impressed

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

Prosdecent severance package. Nothing more to say.

Consour company bought out and we were all laid off.

Advice to Senior Managementassumptions by their management that 'their' people were automatically better than some of the people of the company that was bought out. no employment opportunity if you are working for the company they bought.

    Bullying and bad morale galore!

    Tax Researcher II (Former Employee)
    Rochester, NY

    ProsSome benefits
    some appreciation days
    regular daytime hours
    multiple accounts to work in
    multiple offices to transfer to
databases galore of procedures for working cases

    ConsExtremely bad morale
    high turnover of employees
Bad management (abundant favoritism, cliques, and overt bullying)
    inefficient HR
Low compensation for constant heavy workloads
Culture runs on favoritism and superficiality
Manipulation of consultative reports from employee surveys
Constant pressure threats to work overtime with little appreciation
Lousy data systems that slow production rather than speed it (managers scapegoat workers for this phenomenon)
No promotion procedures for everyone to follow and enforce (too much subjective power in the managers' positions)

Advice to Senior ManagementFace organizational death unless you change your behaviors, accept responsibility for encouraging bullying among management in operations, compensate workers with an equitable wage for their workloads, invest serious costs into online systems, challenge the bureaucratic mindsets of your clients when they bully researchers, and set and enforce career paths and promotion procedures that prevent managerial abuse of job promotions.
