I have been working at CoreMedical Group

    Pros

Core offers great benefits including the opportunity to earn a free all inclusive trip to Mexico every year. The trip is a great opportunity to network with other travelers and those who work for the Core corporate office. These connections and memories from the trip are invaluable to me. They also offer excellent health insurance and a 401K. The recruiters are passionate about their work and go above and beyond for their travelers.

    Cons

As with any staffing agency, they do not offer PTO for travelers.

I have been working at CoreMedical Group as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

I just completed my first travel assignment with CoreMedical and am getting ready for my second assignment. My recruiter is AWESOME! I feel like she really listens to me and she helped answer a lot of questions I had prior to my first assignment.

    Cons

I found a few things confusing at first, like the LMI stipend, but I think that's because I had never traveled before. My recruiter helped answer my questions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work! Thanks for helping me get the assignment I really wanted.

    I worked at CoreMedical Group

    Pros

    None None None None None

    Cons

The management is in New Hampshire and only cares about themselves. You and YOUR nursing license is nothing more than a means to an end. Their bullying strategies are endless.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Choose another industry.

I have been working at CoreMedical Group

    Pros

They promise you the moon. Toll free number. EST. English speaking.

    Cons

After you do not get the moon, you get threatened with being black listed and sued. Promised $1300/wk with housing. Then found out that housing is not included. Terrible communication.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look and see what your recruiters are doing.

First travel company didn't know any better

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

    I worked at CoreMedical Group

    Pros

They were willing to place new travelers with little experience

    Cons

Did NOT provide housing or stipend for housing, recruiters not truthful about details of the area or the employer. Different benefits and pay between employees of the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I don't even know where to start. Get up to parr with the other travel companies that pay more and are more organized.

    I worked at CoreMedical Group

    Pros

    Benefits and long lunch break

    Cons

Unbelievably poor communication, management, and general business sense. Would rather make everyone feel good then improve bottom line.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more involved - cannot tell you how many times I emailed upstairs and received an away message. Clearly communicate expectations.
