    Good opportunity to grow

    Pros

It is a shame that most of the other reviews are from disgruntled employees. Actually, Corepharma is a great company for one to grow. The company itself is growing (there are some ups and downs of course). There is great opportunity there. The best part is that, because the company is small, you get to interact with many different departments and therefore learn a great deal more than if you were in a large company and had 1 task to perform. Additionally, the company takes you seriously if you'd like to switch into other departments that you are interested in. This is really important if one goes into the pharmaceutical industry and wants grow/change fields.

I truly believe that the CEO (Mr. White) is someone who is trustworthy and sincere, which is not always present with business people. With him now leading the company, I believe you can expect that sincerity to trickle down through to everyone else.

    Cons

Sometimes the office culture is negative, intimidating and too hierarchical . This is probably a remnant of how the company used to be. Never the less, it is difficult to find a company with no office politics or bullies, so Corepharma isn't so bad. Even if there is some negative office politics, HR and management is very supportive of trying to remedy situations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have general conversations with people about what their experience is like. It will make them feel as though there is a personal component to work and feel more included. Only talking about status reports or numbers de-humanizes people.

2013 the senior leadership changes were very disappointing

    Pros

There are no positives from 2013, except some separated employees are finding good jobs despite the handicap of having Corepharma on their resume

    Cons

The senior "leadership" changes made in 2013 have not established the company for the future

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It may be too late Chris Worrell is not the problem. The problems started with his move to Amedra

    Pros

They pay well. They try to hire qualified people. Push to train people on SOP's before setting them free on their own (in most cases).

    Cons

They can't get out from under issues with the FDA. They have a rotating door of employees. Their product base and customer base is too small. There is considerable in-fighting between departments and little cross-functional cooperation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Slow down. Settle important issues first, then work on growth.

    Pros

Coworkers are decent and so is the health insurance

    Cons

Lack of appreciation for employees, HIGH turnover rate...literally ever other week someone is either leaving or being let go. Not stable at all. Not enough PTO's.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do a better job of keeping employee's. Who wants to stay at a job where everyone is jumping ship or is getting let go.

    Pros

Great colleagues, hard workers and smart.

    Cons

Employees work very hard and are not appreciated. Sure we get a salary and sometimes a bonus, but daily respect and appreciation are not part of the culture. Employees are fear Fridays because that is when most of the firings occur. Overall negative culture.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your employees are the wheels of the bus...without them the bus cannot move forward. CEO,please change the culture from managing by intimidation to managing by example.
