    Pros

Nice team oriented atmosphere. Number of projects available determine how worked you will be. Overall not a bad place to work depending which team you get to be a part of.

    Cons

Room for improvement in organization from a lack of company culture to more room for growth. Some teams seem to be harder on their employees than others which doesn't seem fair.

    Advice to Management

Wish you would value your employees more rather than seemingly ignore us completely.

    Pros

Good location on the peninsula. High turnover of quality people so there's a lot of of chances to network

    Cons

    - management structure is confusing and dysfunctional
    - most workers are strung along on aerotek contracts for up to 2+ years then let go with a week's notice
    - company culture doesn't exist
    - old boys club mentality within directors - they all worked together before - or something along those lines. Lots of bickering and constant peeing contest - very male-dominated environment

    Advice to Management

Define roles and responsibilities from the top-down.

    Pros

The technology is very exciting and has great potential. With both R&D and production aspects, there is less pressure than in a typical 'startup' with respect to funding. On the R&D side at least, work life balance is well maintained. Recently, management seems to be trying to address some of the issues of employee compensation and appreciation.

    Cons

The upper level management is often quite removed from the day-to-day, and can have somewhat limited understanding of the technical aspects of new technologies. The lack of 'startup pressure' can result in slower timelines and less urgency. Efforts to address compensation and employee recognition have been slow to implement and limited. This may be related to push back from the board of directors.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to appreciating the work of the employees. Think of them less as cogs, and more as individual contributors with talents and expertise to offer. Don't assume that the task can be accomplished without the right focus on hiring and retaining quality contributors.
