I have been working at Cornell University full-time for more than a year
Pros – The grad student stipend is very high compared to other schools I looked at.
Lots of opportunities to explore anything you are interested in through research, classes, and travel.
Cons – No guidance at all as an off main campus grad student. Had no idea what my benefits were for more than a year.
Being a Geneva based grad student means years of frustration at commuting no matter where you choose to live. You either commute for classes or for research.
