Pros – Exposure across the board, new technologies/toys to play with all the time, some of the best engineers in the industry to learn from and work with.

Cons – Chances of burning out too often. Lack of coherent and consistent planning/mgmt.

Advice to Senior Management – Cleaning up at the bottom doesn't fix issues at the top.

Cons – lack of vision and messy management if there is any

Pros – Reasonably good work.. no idle period

Cons – Sometimes it gets too hectic without any break between two projects. It is nice to have work all the time, but tough if the schedules are hectic right from the word go!

Advice to Senior Management – At least when the projects are in their initial phases, let people breathe :-)

weird management decision that misleads the whole team

Flexibility in executing work

Cons – Very aggressive in layoffs, just shut down india center
Be careful if you want to join, and look for hints that can lead to layoffs

Pros – It is a global organisation. You get to work on different technologies. Some of the smartest people work here. You can work using the latest tools.

Cons – It is a startup and needs to generate lot of revenues. In the current economic climate it is difficult but not impossible. Cortina is poised to get exponential growth

Pros – I am working for Cotina System in China. Comparing other foreign companies, Cortina move a whole product such as PON system to China. It is important for a employee growth.

Cons – No excited product in recent years and earn more money in market.

Cons – More senior engineers should be hired to support the verification team, since the EPON chip is so complex and large.

Cons – Pressure could be high from time to time, requires good business skills in every day work, changes may have fast impact on what you do.
