I have been working at Cosma International full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Mostly good people and management who will at least give you the time of day to hear what you have to say. Also seem to genuinely try to keep people employed once there as long as they do their share.

    Cons

The company as a whole (Cosma Int'l rather than just Engineering) is very compartmentalized and that can sometimes make working across divisions difficult. Also there are certain groups who are worked much harder than others; I'm still unable to figure out why we can't distribute the load better. But as long as you're not the in contract engineering groups it's fine.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think we could stand to think more about the long run and a little less about the immediate future.

    Pros

You have lots of opportunities if you're in production.

    Cons

Not a lot of focus on career development and advancement for office admin/support type functions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop your young people on both production and office for one day they will be the leaders of your company.

I have been working at Cosma International

    Pros

montezuma has very good benefits and the pay is not bad the people i work with are good people at least the hourly ones. The machinery in the tool room is good but outdated.

    Cons

a lot of lay offs recently managment farms in friends for managment jobs everything managment does is to help thier friends not the company. the work at montezuma is dirty and the operators get away with it. Managment is good at telling you what you need to improve but will not help you by telling you how to improve. Montezuma would be a good place to work if you can ignore managments ego

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    be available to off shifts

    I worked at Cosma International

    Pros

A very fast paced environment to work in kept things interesting. A great group of people made shifts a pleasure.

    Cons

Little reward for intrapreneurs. Although continuous improvement is the mantra pushed by management, few managers allow their employees time to work on improvement initiatives.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reward those that offer ideas that save the company money.
