Pros

Cons
For many years Cosmote had a big fame. Since March 2011, after the whole CEO's (Michael Tsamaz) strategic move to announce the fire of 100+ employees in the name of the company's survival, raised many insecurity feelings amongst the employees, as the facts and the figures show that the company is still the one and the leader mobile telecom provider in Greece by far.
The level of trust from the employees to the management cannot be the same ever again ...
Advice to Senior Management
The only way of building trust again is to change the majority of the directors and the deputy directors, and of course the common managers ...
Pros
Working for the No1 company in Greece with great colleagues
Cons
People stuck in the same department
Advice to Senior Management
Allow people's roaming
Pros
The only good thing at Cosmote is that in some cases and only if you are lucky you can make good friends.
Cons
After so much time DT own Cosmote, nothing has changed towards a more ethical environment. Still managers are back-supported by government underground people, political parties people and all that stuff that reflect the absence of democracy across Greece. If you are smart and you like to work at this field, you have no chance of getting what you deserve, just because you seem as a danger and an enemy to their keeping their positions. Theoretical HR schemes that are far from the reality. Too many managers ignorant of even the basic management practices, apart from their inabilities concerning their soft skills.
Advice to Senior Management
There is no advice they can listen to. The only thing that can change the way for Cosmote people, is to get new managers.
Pros
Only the fame of its name in Greece. In some cases there are departments with a good working environment to be exposed.
Cons
No fair chances of getting what you deserve by the quality of your work. Many underground and backstage procedures of getting a promotion or get the credits for your work. You need a political party support from a government member to climb in a career path. No motivation schemes, no serious bonuses, no salary growth. Managers care more for keeping their position than giving serious answers to the questions of the employees. They just don't give any credit if you leave you personal life for hard work.
Advice to Senior Management
Think about the respect to the employees.
