I have been working at Costco Wholesale

    Pros

The pay and benefits are decent compared to other retailers out there. There are many different departments that you have the opportunity to learn. You just have to apply when a position opens up. They hire from within, so you will rarely see someone new in a management or supervisor position (unless they transferred from another Costco).

    Cons

Might not be for you if you're not used to working in a fast paced environment. To go along with that, sometimes management isn't very understanding when you have 20 different tasks to do and don't get them done by the end of the night.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are good and bad managers where I work. They are under a lot of pressure, especially during "walks" when corporate comes in to check on everything. Nonetheless, overall leadership here is tolerable.

I have been working at Costco Wholesale

    Pros

Great wages, great benefits. I can totally see myself being with the company for quite some time. If full time, you receive a raise TWICE a year, which will be TWO bucks a year until your topped out.

    Cons

Nothing really, other than as previously mentioned, there CAN be some clicking up going on, luckily not TOO much at my warehouse, probably because we are a new warehouse.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Well, kind of like it's been said, don't announce when you will be visiting. We KNOW you are coming, so therefore we prepare for it.
