    Excellent leadership and benefits

    ProsOutstanding executive leadership. I never once felt like I was being asked to work harder so the top three people could line their pockets - the leadership is doing everything in their power to create a top notch hospital for patients, doctors and employees. The benefits were outstanding.

    ConsAs with any large employer, some departments are more functional than others. Administrative pay is a little low, although the benefits make up for it.

    Advice to Senior ManagementGut and revamp the marketing and PR - Cottage is the best and deserves the best.

    ProsGreat Benefits, Wonderful people to work with, Staff members depending on the department really look out and care for each other.

    ConsManagement only cares about numbers and not how hard employees are actually working. Employees are overworked and very unappreciated. Very hard to be fired from especially management because directors just ignore the problems and make up initiative plans to help the manager without actually looking at the root cause.

    Advice to Senior ManagementRespect and show interest in your employees. Don't just ignore

    Cottage supports no feed back from employee

    ProsNice place to live, Benefits are good.

    ConsMangement lack education and training to properly manage their employees. There is no positive feedback and yearly reviews are joke. Your manager does not meet with to give positive feedback and opportunity for growth, and to share negative feedback to make changes the enitre year.

    Advice to Senior ManagementHire MSN nurse management with experience in managing people. Review yearly review written by your managers, and coach how write and provide at least quarterly meeting. Share positive and negative feedback and provide oppportunity to correct behavior before commenting in a annual review. Clean house on managers that dont have proper training and has conduct issues with staff, doctors, and students.
