    Pros

COTYs employees are all friendly and willing to help. The open environment is a nice way to work and to make friends.

    Cons

Some senior management do not have their own offices as well and they are forced to work in the same open atmosphere as everyone else.

    I worked at Coty full-time

    Pros

When our company was purchased by Coty, they were great. Very respectful and willing to learn about the company. Great benefits, great access to resources with a much bigger company.

    Cons

With a bigger company there is always a lot of red tape. There were also a lot of people "in charge" which created a lot of confusion.

    Pros

Entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well. Leadership encourages you to take initiative on issues you see as important and will support throughout process.

    Cons

Although they promote and encourage lateral movement, there is still much to be desired as far as internal movement.

    Advice to Management

Create rotational programs to expose younger employees to all aspects of the business. Create leaders, don't hire them.

I have been working at Coty full-time

    Pros

I like the people that I work with. They truly care about me and are willing to work together to help Coty make money.

    Cons

Coty does much of their hiring from outside. Coty does not promote significantly from within. This tends to decrease morale.

    Advice to Management

Take an active role in your employees personal and career development. They will appreciate your efforts and will be more loyal to you and the company.
