I worked at Cox Enterprises full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Cox has the best benefits of any company I have ever worked with, and the cost is extremely low as compared to other companies. Great work/life balance. The family is very supportive of its employees.

    Cons

Upper management can be hesitant in taking risks, and is satisfied with the status quo. It can be difficult to move ahead due to entrenched leadership in some areas of the company.

I worked at Cox Enterprises full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good people, with good telework policy and opportunity for advancement if you go the extra mile with your work. The facilitates include a well stocked cafeteria, and a nicely sized gym. Moreover, the employee benefits are 2nd to none.

    Cons

The work can be monotonous, and if you are the type that likes be involved in different areas, then you may find yourself getting bored (as I did).

    Advice to Management

Continue to promote from within and to work toward employee work \ life balance.

    Pros

Really put their money where their mouth is when it comes to employees. From the Employee Relief Fund to keeping benefits and wellness at the front... it's nice to see a company that cares.

    Cons

When HR doesn't understand what a position is even if it's defined, it is very difficult to get them to pull compensation to match the industry.

    Advice to Management

Keep going in a positive direction and really listentin to the employees. It's working.

    Pros

The company culture is great at COX. Everyone is very friendly and it is great working on teams is always enjoyable. The pay at Cox is very competitive as well.

I would change the project integration work. I think that Cox should create a program that allows a group of interns to work cohesively as a group.
