I worked at Crédit Agricole part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Very professional workers. The summer job was very interesting and with different day-to-day operations.

    Cons

Some of the day-to-day operations are not always rewarding, and sometimes one has to ask for new tasks to accomplish. An account at Credit Agricole must be opened before starting to work there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give more tasks to the summer employees, with a more organized set of tasks and objectives.

    Pros

Good atmosphere within the team and very interesting and educational as a first internship in finance. I also had the opportunity to meet some clients and to see the commercial part of the business.

    Cons

The work could be more challenging. There is a lack of middle-aged employees, you deal either with young people or really more experienced people.

Nice people, easy going. It depends on the team for which you will work, but if it is the GED team it will be a great experience in which you will learn a lot.

    Cons

Not all people are the same, not all companies are the same. Credit Agricole is a good bank but less known than very big banks.

    Pros

Des gens sympathiques (ce qui est très appréciable), une entreprise solide où les provisions pour perte sont de l'ordre du passé (je l'espère). Il règne une culture du consensus ce qui assure une ambiance décontractée par rapport à d'autres banques.

Nice people - which goes a long way - solid company where large provisions are a thing of the past (I hope). The culture is one of consensus which ensures a mellow atmosphere compared to other banks.

    Cons

Pas beaucoup de notions d'entrepreneuriat - une banque très "française", sans grande ambition à l'international.

Not a lot of entrepreneurship - a very "French" Bank with no great ambitions abroad. They got burned by past acquisitions (Greece in particuar) only to get out with heavy provisions. Hopefully a time of the past.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Investissements réalisés dans le réseau international.

    Invest in the international network.
