I have been working at Crédit Agricole full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Nice people - which goes a long way - solid company where large provisions are a thing of the past (I hope). The culture is one of consensus which ensures a mellow atmosphere compared to other banks.

    Cons

Not a lot of entrepreneurship - a very "French" Bank with no great ambitions abroad. They got burned by past acquisitions (Greece in particuar) only to get out with heavy provisions. Hopefully a time of the past.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Crédit Agricole full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good people, I was given a lot of opportunities to take initiatives at a very early stage, overall a great learning environment.

    Cons

Very French environment for an investment bank. Long hours, little flexibility regarding hours. Lack of cooperation between teams, and sometimes a bit of an everybody for himself environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Should foster a culture of cooperation and send out more positive messages to employees.

    Pros

Great place to work with many competent people to learn from. Constantly learning with many opportunities to show your abilities.

    Cons

The culture is quite competitive and you may find yourself competing against those in similar positions. But overall a great place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
