Advice to Senior Management
Combine the Trade Finance Group with the Corporate Bank.
Pros
This French bank is very huge, also offices are huge. It depends on where you are working in, but I feel alright. Very interesting projects. Self restaurant opened from 11h30am to 2:00 pm. Stress less!
Cons
Very old population here! A Hierarchy a bit disconnected from earth as they might coming from a past generation. Salary reviews are inexisting.
Advice to Senior Management
Staff meeting should be interactive and not only just in one way! You know what I mean? Oh give me a break with that!
Pros
decent work/life balance, strong international presence, relatively laid back atmosphere, though french laissez faire attitude pervades the place-- not good for the US business
Cons
poor communication on all levels (including management and employees), promotion system too political, too many interested parties duking it out over territory
Advice to Senior Management
get the US business together, hire some top notch staff, and focus focus focus; large market opportunity awaits, but management is letting it get away
Pros
Great team work, friendly work environment
Cons
slow internal process and little bit political
Advice to Senior Management
Need to be more agressive in expanding business
Pros
Cred Ag is a good place to work if you just need a job rather than a career opportunity. they provide great benefits and are very flexible when you need to take time off. there is a very young crowd that all get along and like each other. everyone hangs out together every now and then and every one seems to relate to each other. the benefits are up the wall such as meals, long paid vacations, gym membership, transit vouchers, retirement plans, and many many more. the people are extremely friendly and for the most part have been there a long time.
Cons
while the benefits are fantastic and the company seems to spend a lot of money on staff entertainment and benefits, they are very reluctant to provide market competitive salaries bonuses and promotions. it is pretty much a pigeon hole with no room for advancement. you can be praised for everything you do and they may tell you that you are great, but they just do not have the business model to promote people. this is why there has recently been so much staff turnover. they throw going away parties and end up spending so much money when they could have just given good raises.
