Pros
Like the product, helped introduce, Huawei Ascend I and have owned Huawei Ascend I & Huawei Ascend II and, now the Huawei Mercury.
Cons
infrequent assignments and not very connective; during assignment lolls.
Advice to Senior Management
infrequent assignments, find me more frequent assignments...
Pros
Better pay
Better training
More reliability
Work for you to get more hours
Timely feedback
Timely response from managers
Obvious passion for workplace
If looking for part time weekend work then work with CCS
Cons
Periodic breaks in program
No opportunity for advancement
Little in rewards from 1st party company
Can sometimes get hung out to dry if store is out of product
Advice to Senior Management
Try to combine programs so that the break periods for programs can be off set by someother type of work. Other than that a great place to work and much much better in all aspects than any other point of sale company.
Pros
The company and management are very flexible, offer great benefits since they are a part of Omnicom, and have an amazing culture at the office and remotely. This company is great for outgoing and self-motivated people.
Cons
I felt more part of the client company than CCS at times. They also did not offer much chances for advancement.
Advice to Senior Management
Get more remote employees involved in company matters.
Pros
Wonderful co-workers. These are some of the best people I have ever worked with.
Cons
Senior management has grand ideals and relentlessly spouts off about their vision and values, but yet they do not uphold their own ideals through their actions.
Advice to Senior Management
It is difficult to change inherent core values and talking about it more is not going to make that happen. It needs to be a fundamental shift from the top in action, not words.
Pros
Niche in marketing, location, office
Cons
Organization is highly disjointed and has difficulty in maintaining values cross-departmentally.
Advice to Senior Management
Management should follow their traditional company rhetoric and invest in those most interested in the success of the organization.
Pros
The core group of people here are great.
Employees support one another, rally together, and are there for each other.
The entry level people are the best ever.
Cons
Company is focused on profits and holds out on those that are actually making a difference.
Poor personel decisions, hire and promote friends of clients with little background or experience.
Most managers are poor with little experience and sometimes no experience doing the job they are managers of.
If you do a good job, you are penalized with more work load with little in return.
Advice to Senior Management
Wake up, you have a chance to be great. The people you need were already there when I was there. Do not allow the clients access to your affairs, stop selling out your entry level employees to pocket the clients cash. Stop the stretch. stretch, stretch and pocket whats left policy. If you want to make a million dollars staff yourself for two million not a hundred thousand like you are currently doing.
Pros
this is a company that really knows how to take care of its people. the leadership team has developed a great culture. I'm very fortunate to be here, especially in this economy.
Cons
Sometimes we focus too much on growth, which can be hard on people. We feel recognized, but that doesn't mean it's not hard.
Advice to Senior Management
Make sure that we stop to smell the roses a bit more. We are doing really good work and sometimes we need to pause to reflect on what we've achieved.
Pros
The best and ONLY reason to work for CCS is the people on your team. I have made some lasting friendships and have learned alot professionally. There's definitely a sense of comraderie and everyone will pitch in projects and give it 150%.
Cons
-Total lack of career growth despite tons of lip service about development opportunities
-Salary was well below industry standard as it turns out
-Lack of transparence despite tons of lip service about 'honest communication"
-Upper management is completly out of touch with how employees are feeling
Advice to Senior Management
Stop talking and start doing. Give the remote employees more opportunities to advance.
