Pros
Great environment, cafe, gym, etc. Support employees in taking course/training, and getting certificate. Efforts were rewarded.
Cons
Playing the rules and visibility is more important in promotion. Long hours and lots of weekend work.

Supposing one employee to finish two people's work is not realistic.

I ended working for a senior management team with limited vision which not the norm at CS

Fire incompetent senior managers and ensure that the review process is done with diligence

Good work life balance
They treat contractors well, just like full time employee. This is the best part.
Flexible working hours, but working from home is generally restricted. You need to provide a good reason to work from home.
No micromanagement, You are given enough freedom to take day to day decisions.

Recent layoffs creating confusion
Plan to move some employees to NY office is not clearly communicated. This creates lot of uncertainty among the employees as they could not plan anything long term like buying property etc.
Management dont update employees about the new developments. They all sit in NY office and there is communication gap.
Each managers have their preferred employees in their group and you can survive only if you are in a group.
Benefits and bonus are not great .

Great benefits package, location and pay. Personnel is extremely professional. Many networks to correspond with other employees and individuals with similar situations, parents, women, veterans, etc.

Very large company so the processes existing for employees to do what is necessary can be daunting to deal with on a day to day basis.
