Pros

I get lots of atonomy in this job. The co-workers are really nice and there is definitely a family feel to the place.

Cons

Flat organizational structure makes promotion from within very remote. People tend to talk about their families too much. Management is too hands-off at times, which is good and bad.

Advice to Senior Management

Be more proactive and making things happen. Motivate people more by ensuring that opportunities for growth/promotion are available. Some processes can be improved.
