Pros
Great culture. Not many companies like it.
Cons
Tenant representation can be a tough business if you are new to the industry without many preexisting relationships.
Pros
High integrity of the people, good pay and benefits, opportunity to learn new skills, management is very flexible.
Cons
The work level can be uneven and create some demanding deadlines periodically.
Advice to Senior Management
Give as much advance notice as possible on critical presentations and RFP's.
Pros
it has a friendly and casual environment. the management is doing a good job keeping staff motivated. the pay is competitive too. Overall, CP provides a satisfying environment for employees to do what they have to do.
Cons
limited development and opportunity for administrative staff. in a brokerage firm, the work for administrative staff is to support the brokers--and sometimes they can be unreasonable and demanding. the organization is simple and i don't see much promotion room and learning experience for administrative personnels.
Advice to Senior Management
they can do better job to connect their brokers to administrative staffs. assigning jobs fairly among support teams is also important.
Pros
Young, hungry associates; potential to make a lot of money for the right sales people who have the ability to cold call effectively.
Cons
Typical commissioned based real estate brokerage firm. The only objective and performance measure is cold calls to get meetings with potential clients. Essentially a commissioned based sales job.
Advice to Senior Management
Be honest with young associates about expectations......let them know up front that they have 6 months to start showing results or they are out.
