Pros

I am not treated like a number. Upper management knows my name, remembers details about my personal history, gives positive feedback about my performance.

Cons

As third party managers, we are always at the mercy of our clients: if they decide to sell the building, we may be out of a job.

Advice to Senior Management

Provide more one on one discussions. I do have that with my immediate supervisor, but upper management rarely does a one on one unless they are in town.
