lack of technology savvy people in the business and management, they just anyhow accept all project, without considering technical issues.
Pros

- Many choices for lunch.
Cons
- Staffs are rewarded by their long service more than by their performance.
- Management sees high performers as yet another easily replaceable resources. This applies even to the best staffs in this company's history.
- Frequent overtime (OT) despite effective and efficient work.
- Management focuses on short term profit only and neglects long term goals.
Advice to Senior Management
- Should reward staffs more by performance rather than by seniority.
- Retain the best people and success will follow.

Lots of responsibility placed very early on enables you to build a complete overview of all aspects of enterprise systems

Remove the underperforming entrenched managers and offer greater opportunities to younger performers

-During SIT/UAT time u'll get scolding emails like "why again?" without proper consideration of not enough time given.
Advice to Senior Management
Instead of looking for profit to the company, management should try to create a work-life balanced life for employees
Pros
Good learning ground in IT, great place to start IT career, good opportunities to work in various overseas projects, great place to jump-start career.
Cons
Hierarchical management, tedious manual documentation procedures, lack of personal communication from higher management, constantly high turnover rate, uncompetitive monetary compensation
Advice to Senior Management
Being a IT company, CrimsonLogic should place emphasis in development of the technical skills and craft of its employees which will result in the delivery of high quality works that customers will appreciate and recognize. Too many counter-productive QMS procedures which takes up employees' time are in place. Continuing to turn a blind eye to the difficulties and dissatisfaction that employees face will continue the current high turnover trend and does not bode well for the company.
Pros
* Friendly colleagues
* Growing company, opportunities for growth is there
* Benefit package quite good (getting +1 day annual leave for every year you work, capped at 18 days or 21 days for managers and above, $600 flexible subsidy claim including holidays, air ticket, etc)
* Overseas travel / posting opportunities, especially if you're in sales / presales
* Close to nature (Science Park 2)
* Good food
Cons
* Salary not competitive
* A lot of red tape
* Employees of average standard
* Hiring process very primitive, which results in a lot of people unqualified for the job
* Stressful if you're involved in project running behind deadline
* No structured way to recognize dedicated employees, no talent development programme
* Close and uninnovative culture
Advice to Senior Management
Concentrate on people / culture / talent development, please do not be too profit-driven; should think for long term growth (growing the human capital / company culture, etc.) rather than short-term growth (profits + projects). CrimsonLogic has a good reputation as a software service provider, but a not-so-good reputation as an employer. This resulted in a lot of bright people leaving the company.
Pros
Science park location, free shuttle bus to food places, nus food canteen, and other food places. Nice clean environment peaceful
Cons
Tough working hours, one color through out the workforce, cheap labour, boring nearby canteens, limited pantry food and drinking options
Advice to Senior Management
should offer more feed back opportunities and options to the work force, and increase diversity in the work force and expand
