    Pros

The building is made to do good work. From the content (or account as everyone else calls them) people to creatives to the receptionist, everyone is on the same page, everyone is bright, and everyone is pushing to make the work good.

After working here, I think differently. I've learned to think quickly, broadly, and in a modern way.

    Cons

So much pressure. So little free time. It's hard to make plans. It's hard to have a life outside of work. It's getting better and with new leadership it's changing more and more. But overall it's still too much.

    Pros

CPB teaches you to work quickly and how to come up with good ideas. You'll learn a lot from the people around you. There's lots of opportunity to make work. It's also a great place to meet talented people that you'll end up networking with for the rest of your career.

    Cons

Long hours, it's a sweatshop. Don't expect much life-work balance, but you know that going in.

    Pros

As soon as you start at Crispin, you'll forget all of the stupid stuff you hear on Agency Spy. This is an agency that's still dedicated to making the best work in the industry. People work their butts off, without forgetting to have fun.

    Cons

Hours. But those are bad at any top agency. Though, hours affect workers. They affect families. They affect the retention at Crispin.

    Pros

You'll meet lots of talented people that will end up elsewhere sooner or later.

    Cons

I felt like I was never off work. Never understood why it was necessary to work until 4 in the morning. Nothing good comes out of it.

    Pros

From day one you are thrown into the fire and treated like a full-time employee! You spend a lot of time at the office, but it goes fast because you are having fun doing what you love!

    Cons

    I don't have any cons!

    Pros

CP+B gave me experience that I know I will never get anywhere else
Great talent and opportunity to make lasting connections
C-level guys, although a bit of a boys club, figure out how to keep the BS of the business to themselves and let people focus on work
    Attention to culture
Tons of opportunity to travel, I really believe people can create their own path at CPB if they work hard and have passion
The operations team - travel, HR, , IT, extra staff make everything pretty easy. You don't realize until you leave

    Cons

Efficiency of projects, but I saw this improve over the course of the 6 years I was there
Account people are often left out of the process, and it shows to clients
Some senior leadership should not be in positions of leadership
People have little understanding of P&L and real business learnings to where they can go work at smaller shops

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Figure out how to teach P&L and a new process for efficiency so you don't burn people out. This is worth investing in. Such great people come through there, it's a shame to see so many burn out.
Encourage more women in senior leadership roles (next to Rob :) )
Keep an eye out on the old-school managers and make sure they are treating people right and encouraging growth

Current Employee - Intern in Boulder, CO

    Pros

Your network immediately explodes with top talent
The kitchen means you never go hungry
Lots of employee "hoo rah!!" days-- free lunch, one day the company booked and paid for free food from all of the food trucks in Boulder, free booze-- they like happy workers.
Living in Boulder!! Cheaper and much prettier/ healthier than NYC
    Bring your dog to work!

    Cons

A lot of hipster- negativity. People like to moan about working a ton. I believe that the perks make it worth it.
    Pay is lower
Not a lot of clarity on what it takes to move up

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Implement better employee review systems. Always keep the dog friendly work atmosphere!
