    Pros

By far the best company I've ever worked for. Co has strong products and is very highly regarded in the personal care industry. Most of my co-workers are very committed to the company and work hard to ensure it's success. Very little turnover, people stay here a long time. Good communication from management. Employee development is fairly strong, with opportunities to advance.

    Cons

Hard to get into the company without related experience. No remote or work-from-home, limited flexibility.

    Pros

    815am to 430pm work schedule

    Cons

    No place to advance
All decisions made based on the opinion of one person
815am to 430pm work schedule - strict hours
    poor salary in the industry

    Advice to Management

You may want to consider raises that at least match the employee increase in health insurance

high competition environment, risk of dinosaur company

    Advice to Management

identified value, don´t become a dinosaur

  7. Decent company but if you are not in favor whatever you try is pretty pointless.

    Pros

Stable job, decent pay and hours

    Cons

Pretty one-sided with regards to whether you are in or out. This causes loads of issues down the years. The company is losing staff with 4 - 10 years experience while new staff are not staying.

    Advice to Management

The company's policy is to groom future leaders but this is hardly happening. Staff are deemed incompetent when little guidance is given. The top management change heralded the demise of old staff - all in the name of them not being competent enough. Where's the grooming in cases like these?

    Pros

    Final salary pension scheme
    Focus on innovation
    Young, smart workforce

    Cons

Low salaries for equivalent experience in competitive companies
Head office is not well located
Young leadership team means there may be a dearth of senior roles in the medium term
Synergies with larger competitors may result in acquisition, followed by redundancies

    Advice to Management

    Be more visible
    Reinforce Croda values and vision
Reward technical expertise and thought leadership as much as people management

    Pros

I am not sure if there were any such pros which are very specific to the company because I have a feeling that almost all the chemical companies have a similar working environment.

    1. Great working environment intellectually
    2. Good management system

    Cons

My experience there was a bad one since I was assigned a mentor but the mentor was himself was very busy to guide me.
Also the problem is that the management is unwilling to change.

    Pros

    Pretty good graduate scheme.
    Good culture and values
    Final salary pension

    Cons

Very low payer and difficult to get a pay increase - no clarity.
A lot of managers show outright favoritism - very clique driven.
Management pay lip service to reforms, guidelines and process - they just do what they want.
HR seems to be there simply as a cover
