    Pros

Amazing place to work with amazing people. Management does not micro manage, they are not there to babysit you; they trust that you will fulfill your responsibilities. With that being said, if you ever have a question their doors are always open. Great corporate environment, with a great work/life balance.

    Cons

Only aspect that I wish was different was the salary. The salary for my position was a little less than the industry average. Although all the perks that came along with the job made up for the lower salary.

I worked at Cross MediaWorks full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good insurance benefits free parking. Close to nice restaurants. Spacious cubicles. Running water. Bathroom with a door that locks. Good view from the windows.

    Cons

Toxic work environment created and enabled by senior management and HR. Big company that regularly allows manager to insult, demean, and abuse with fake assignments just to keep you busy, disorganization, shifting expectations, shifting blame to employees and disrespect on a human interactive level. HR knows but won't help.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train managers to fairly and professionally deal with their employees. Learn from turnover and lack of growth and strive to fix the toxic environment which is holding you back. Pay venders what you owe them so you can use them again, and stop the bad rep you are fostering.

Basically an environment where most of the experienced talent has been removed for cheaper replacements.

I have been working at Cross MediaWorks

    Pros

    - Willing to offer decent benefits.
    - Many good long time employees that are talented and helpful.
    - Opportunity to learn a complex business structure.
    - Diverse technologies merged into a single company offers experience you might otherwise miss.
    - Nationwide communication and exposure.
    - Big City locations with small business attitude.

    Cons

    - Unfortunate drive to be too corporate-like with less attention to employees.
    - Too much fresh turnover of employees.
    - Upper management lacks compassion for employees resulting in distrust
and feeling under appreciated. Too much power given to a few causing
        serious productivity issues.
    - No bonus structure or raises given the few years involved with the company.
    - Management's odd distrust of employees.
    - Many important positions manned by inexperienced personnel for the position.
    - No employee protection – At Will Employer. May be terminated at any time.
    - Great ideas with an immense capability of doing very well but reduced due to
upper management failures and mistrust. Source of company-wide employee
        depression.
    - Too many employees multi-tasking resulting in mistakes and long unpaid hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let your talented employess grow and gain confidence. Use technology to increase productivity instead of more inexperienced "cheap" bodies. Always let them know when they are doing well and when the make mistakes. The company has the ability to make twice as much as it does but performance is unfortunately lost for the many reasons listed above.
