I worked at Crown Worldwide full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The environment was supportive and laid back. There was no pressure to work for long hours if not necessary and the attire was semi-casual unless there were meetings with clients.

    Cons

The office was small so there were not that many opportunities for further promotion.

    Current Employee - Branch Manager

I have been working at Crown Worldwide

    Pros

Offers good networking potential with medium to large enterprises as well as various kinds of associations. Quite relaxed about attendance as long as work is done.

    Cons

Lack of sense of social responsibility towards employees. Management operates in a fear based style and has blinkers on re. their own company. Performance and position in the market are completely overrated. Company acts in a pseudo entrepreneurial way at branch level, when suitable but tries to project a corporate image towards employees and clients. There are hardly any guidelines and structures, which could be expected from a company this size. If there are, they are not being observed. Existing processes are chaotic and "hand knitted". Most former employees are spoken of badly by management - not exactly a motivation for anybody to want to work there. Most people leave on bad terms, perhaps not acc. to management but certainly a fact, that becomes evident, when speaking to the former employees on a personal level.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Realize, that as an employer, one has a social responsibility towards staff. Staff are the live blood of a business and it does not do any good, bulldozing them. Become aware of own position in the market and adapt. Loose the blinkers and realize, that the service the company offers is a commodity and stop pretending, that it is some sexy product.
