I have been working at Crystal Springs Resort

    Pros

Some jobs offered great pay for easy work.

    Cons

Ive worked for several different departments throughout the entire resort, and in all positions i feel that the mangers treat you as replaceable. Every who works there from my perspective does not like how they treat their employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees like they matter.

I worked at Crystal Springs Resort

    Pros

good employees, nearly everyone is friendly and it's pretty easy to get a shift covered if needed because there are so many employees

    Cons

management is terrible, focuses so much on trivial matters rather than focusing on improving the resort as a whole

A company of friendly people who are getting into big business but seem to be a bit in over their heads.

I have been working at Crystal Springs Resort full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

You are able to work both indoors and out. In addition, the management are all very nice people. Hours and vacations are flexible. Its a great summer job, part time, for a college student.

    Cons

Everyone is underpaid. From the bottom on up. There is a small structure of managers that use the mass of disposable employees to get all the real work done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is far too much of a gap between the average worker and management. It needs to be a more fluid team. Managers do not know whats actually going on on the "ground floor"

I worked at Crystal Springs Resort part-time

    Pros

Fun atmosphere for a summer job. The pay was decent and the customers were great to deal with. The job was a great job for part time and great if you want a side job.

    Cons

Management not disciplined and professional. Scheduling was a nightmare.

I worked at Crystal Springs Resort full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The opportunity to work with some talented hospitality and culinary people producing products that one may take pride in.

    Cons

A management style that treats employees as disposable commodities to be drained and discarded leads to tremendous turnover and massive job dissatisfaction. The attitude from senior management/ownership that their members and customers are people from whom the maximum revenue should be extracted with the minimum return in goods and services.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a spiritual epiphany and start treating your stakeholders with common respect. Hospitality starts at the top.
