ProsWeekends off if you have that type of account. There's not that much good about them. The ppl that have been there for years always complain that there is much better.

ConsPoor management, the only ppl that excel are the ones that are related to management. They really don't know how to talk to people.

Culinart is an overall bad company to work for

Executive Sous Chef (Former Employee) Pittsburgh, PA

ProsI worked at one of the university accounts that they hold, so my schedule was not the worst that i have ever had.....

ConsPoor system management, lack of caring for employees and managers, executives put their needs before others, no job security, always wondering if you will lose your job no matter how hard you work...

Advice to Senior ManagementYou should really give your management a sense of job security. I was an executive level manager for over a year and a half, and no matter how hard, or how much i worked, i always wondered if i was going to lose my job that day. My immediate supervisor always wondered if he was going to lose his job that day ( thats how he started his "good morning"... "Hello and good morning... Well maybe today is the day that they are going to fire me..". not because he wanted to lose his job, but because every single person i worked with wondered if they would be fired that day.

It is a very disorganized company where food quality is last thing on there mind compared to dollar.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThey give you plenty of time off, if you have enough money to withstand the free time go see the world. If not, most likely gonna need a second job.

ConsLack of raises in the company, and job promotion.

Advice to Senior ManagementAll should retire because they are all from the age of the good old boy era. A lot of nepotism

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
