I worked at Cummins Bridgeway full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great professional atmosphere without being too stuffy or impersonal. Employees are very supportive and eager to help each other learn. I gained much experience in a wide array of sectors of the business. Upper management encourages employees to gain certifications and further education.

    Cons

A bit of an 'hourly' vs. 'salary' bridge to gap

I have been working at Cummins Bridgeway full-time

    Pros

Very structured, corporate directives are well communicated. Great group of people to work with, both peers and subordinates. Lots of business available, just need to go get it.

    Cons

Upper and local management had a habit of breaking promises, not following through on their word. Known problems were ignored. Little training provided before being thrown to the wolves.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase training for new hires, keep your word.

    Cons

To much training, They say safety is a major concern, but when push comes to shove you are told to do your job regardless. Would not mention it if proper PPE was given for dangerous/hazardous parts of your position then it would not be a MAJOR CONCERN!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let people you hire do there job. To many meetings. Also practice what you preach.
