    Pros

Stable and trustworthy organization. Ideal work environment. High pay for this specific position. Fair amount of work. Overall, a good opportunity.

    Cons

No room for growth. Very little responsibility is given to employee. It's a job rather than a career. You can't develop yourself in the specific area. No networking opportunities. Very limited reference opportunity.

    Advice to Management

Be fair to everyone when hiring for the position. If you hire somebody for a position try to give some responsibilities to the person. Try to take the person's opinion in some aspects. Do a better review when hiring people.

    Pros

I'm not sure what it is like to work for the Research Foundation since my position is only funded by them. As a CUNY Service Corps employee, I find the position highly gratifying. Though I am mostly involved with the behind the scenes work, I find great pride in being service to NYC through the Service Corps program.

    Cons

The workload can become stressful at times, but my manager is great at delegation and empowers her assistants to do their best.
