    Pros

The people at this business unit were great. Team players, always trying to improve the business, hard workers

    Cons

Corporate HQ only interested in raising the stock price-which, to their credit, they have, but at the expense of many business units and jobs. Reduced R&D to zero in most business units, thereby amputating their ability to generate future business in new industries

    Pros

To learn new things. Keep your mind fresh. To challenge myself. Socializing and interaction with people. Making money to be able to take care of my family.

    Cons

Takes up time in my day. I'm away from my family. Can be frustrating.

    Pros

    - Pay was decent - Interview process was easy, about a 20 minute phone interview - Coworkers were smart and easy to work with - Free coffee

    Cons

    - Unorganized management - Some micro managing - Software lead had no idea what was going on - Rarely get to see software manager unless deadline was approaching - Product was not that great - Parking was horrible

    Advice to Management

The Curtiss-Wright Controls location in City of Industry seems to be headed in a bad direction. Start hiring more qualified people and paying them better wages instead of hiring 50 interns to just complete a project.

Friendly people, at least for the ones I worked with. flexible work schedule, can come in as early as 7 leave as early as 3:30 free coffee. pays well.

    Cons

required overtime, schedule slip as always, many people don't know what they are doing, (lack of leadership) No growth opportunity

    Advice to Management

Running a company with this style will never go far. Try to keep the employees happy

    Cons

No training program set. You basically train yourself

    Cons

too much politics in upper management for a small company

    Advice to Management

Give employees positive feedback. If they do a good job, say thank-you.

    Pros

Hourly can work all the overtime they want and don't have to justify there workload. Salary work less than 8 hours day and no overtime.

    Cons

ok place to work if you like a double or triple workload, then when you leave they hire 2 or 3 people to replace you

    Advice to Management

Moral sucks because of workload and some employees carry the load and others get away with doing very little.

    Pros

You can definitely gain a lot of international experience if you go with the flow and always agree with management. Pay is pretty decent but beware of the commission and bonus programs.

    Cons

Management seems to be constantly changing and creates a unstable atmosphere for the employees.

    Advice to Management

Take a lesson from some of the really great presidents and CEOs i.e., Valter Baldacinni of Umbra, Ed King of King Radio, and John Kuperhand. Learn to value your employee's as your most important asset and not see them as just a number.

    Pros

Plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

    Cons

Management needs to better balance decisions which make the Quarterly performance numbers look good with decisions which improve chances for long term success.

    Advice to Management

Get to know your people and listen to their input about how to make the Company better.
