Positive work environment with good upper management. Managers always willing to help and provide feedback.

Company has good structure but the corporate structure makes it difficult to get help in certain situations.

little or no communication from management. no desire from management for people to progress. Once you are in a position that fits there is no hope of moving forward. 75% of time with this employer is spent covering your tracks

Start offering real employee reviews and take a genuine interest in your salaried staff. Initiating a training department would be helpful.

As in many larger corporations, global profitability can affect the latitude of regional offices and their expenses even if the regional offices remains profitable.
