Pros
Friendly customers
Benefits
Colorful, never a dull minute
Owner of company is nice, Thomas Brennan.
Cons
Very Unprofessional management
Managements answer to all issues are "You're fired"
Employee turnover rate is very high, especially in NC & SC
Poor communication
Number freaks
Always wondering if you will have job the next day
Advice to Senior Management
More respect for your employees
Invest in your employees, treat them like employees, not position fillers
Pros
The windows open outward if you have an office. The cleaning crew cleans up in the evening. There is a summer Bar-B-Q with burgers and hot dogs.
Cons
The customer base is not generating enough revenue to maintain profitability. As a result, I am constantly trying to borrow against our existing, dwindling inventory. The banks are pushing back, and it's difficult to make pay roll. The branch offices in NH and NC are completely in the dark about the direction of the company. Good people are beginning to get ansy, and a mass exodus is imminent.
Advice to Senior Management
Be up front about the fact that there is not enough business coming in to maintain the level of service that is expected by the customer base.
Pros
the market we serve is fun and exciting. we are a growing organization so it is fun to be a part of that growth
Cons
communication from upper management is fairly poor, an individual can be "demoted by default", whic means others are hired and given responsibilities that you should or were responsible for, all with no communication of intenetions to do so
Advice to Senior Management
communicate, communicate, communicate - think about people not numbers at all times
