Former Employee – worked at Cvent full-time for more than a year
Pros – I think Cvent provides a good platform for people to learn about the events & meetings industry.
Cons – There are more than several cons about working for this company. The main problem is that the management, specially the lower and middle management is highly inefficient and unorganized. The company, in spite of it's advertised exponential growth, stands on extremely weak pillars of selfish and self-centric management. The company only boasts of being a Corporate. However, the functioning is still that of a typical bureaucratic organization. In fact, most bureaucratic orgs function much more effectively than Cvent. There are countless other issues. Disparity among growth & development prospects, internal office politics, non-performance linked benefits, unethical conduct of the management, are just some of them to list.
Advice to Senior Management – Fix the management in India office. Get some people who can really support the size of teams your organization aspires to create. And hire some professionals, not immature, out-of-call center reps who are more interested in levelling their own drudges with employees than resolving business issues.

Current Employee – been working at Cvent full-time for less than a year
Pros – The work environment is at par with any leading names in the industry. It's a fun place to work. Quite lively.
Cons – The fact that they will tie you down to a long contract worth a fortune, and there seem to be a lot less growth opportunities.
Advice to Senior Management – Let the hiring process be a bit more fluid and well planned,

Cons – People have grown due to asslicking..no merit based crowd to manage people or process
DISGUSTING work environment with a contract that makes you feel caged suffocated and like a slave
Facts are tweaked and presented to US management
Policies change person to person
Loyalty and hard work doesnt pay..if you dont mingle with INDIAN management well
STRICT no no if you want to work for a company that values your sweat

Former Employee – worked at Cvent full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – The company provides excellent support on the tech front. You will get 2 monitors, costly hard drives, latest softwares and pretty powerful machines to work on. They spend a lot on the infrastructure and the working environment is nice.
Cons – The problem with the company is that you have a single person to work under. So, if you are good for him you will do great but if you are bad then you'll survive [no one will listen after an extent whether you are genuine or not]. Be aware of the politics and fix layout structure. Your vertical growth will happen only in salary but proper team handling, risk analysis, feasibility studies all are something which you'll miss.
Advice to Senior Management – Try to listen genuinely to the employees and try to seriously find answers to their questions. Bond won't let them last with you.

Current Employee – been working at Cvent full-time for more than a year
Pros – the environment is good, people around u are the ones you can look up to, frequent visits of seniors like VPs which improves visibility
Cons – The only thing I can say is very strict 9 hours a day even if its a bit lean period like close to release.

Current Employee – been working at Cvent full-time for more than a year
Pros – Its just different from whatever you would have experienced so far. At times I wait for the weekend to get over soon & that sums it all up.
Cons – A slight deterrent can be 2.5 year commitment, but its worth it. At the end of the day you have a grin from ear to ear.
Advice to Senior Management – Don't just preach transparency, practice it too.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
