    Overall good company

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Baltimore, MD

ProsMost employees are in the field, which gives you alot of independence. Salaries are good. Benefits about average for this size company.

ConsMostly a subcontractor to larger firms like CSC and Northrop Grumman. That puts in a position of having supervisors who work for other companies and the supervisor at Cybercore has no idea what you do.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't lose site of where you come from as you grow to challenge the big boys.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

    "Body in a seat" company

Systems Administrator (Current Employee) Annapolis Junction, MD

ProsSalary and benefits are great. No mandatory meetings. HR is very helpful.

ConsProfessional growth is not a priority. Field staff are isolated, and "forgotten".

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Company is good while you are on contract

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsPays extremely well, not many can come close to the salaries paid at CyberCore

ConsBe prepared that if you come off contract, there is no bench. If you can't be put on a contract immediately, then you are pretty much out there door. As long as you are making CyberCore money then you are fine, but if you aren't then be prepared to get a swift shuffle out the door. If you have vacation, it isn't paid to you. Their hidden policy is they don't pay out vacation when you leave.

Also, for training you will pay up front, then the time you are off for training you will not got paid. So their isn't much incentive to get training. So by people not taking the training since they don't want to miss out on pay, they don't have to reimburse a lot when it comes to training.

As long as you know these facts going in the door, then you will be fine. Just don't expect much help when the contract ends or you if you are on the bench.

Advice to Senior ManagementPay vacation when employees leave and work on helping employees land jobs within the company.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
