Work life balance. Highly political.
Advice to Senior Management
Drop the politics and get to work.
Pros
lot of frustrated good people in your company
Cons
waste of your time and contribution to company
Advice to Senior Management
Why no exit interview? Do you guys even care of survey result etc
Pros
It recently was bought by Visa. So big time benefits and a real retirement program.
Cons
Sweat Shop. Expect to put in 60+ hours a week. Pull at least one over night release per month. No money for training, but plenty for business trip drinking (if your lucky enough to travel).
Advice to Senior Management
Remember, Visa spent $2 billion for this company and will be looking at the bottom line and useless middle management overhead.
Pros
very compettive and process oriented. The company is doing business for 15 years and has been dominating in Payment business. This company is one of the best companies with best benefits
Cons
Salaries should be more. This company pays less than everage salaries as compare to other leaders. rest is fine with cybersource
Advice to Senior Management
Keep focussing on improving the processes to stay ahead in the business. Work on staff training and motivate people towards higher education if they can
Pros
-Competitive pay
-Great/smart/heard working people
-Well balanced work life/personal life
Cons
-Poor internal communication on proposed changes
-Feels like HR is not on the side of the worker and is on the side of the corporation and management.
-Knowledge is not effectively shared across groups
-Poor internal communication on changes that one department makes that will affect another department.
Advice to Senior Management
Don't let the Visa acquisition make CyberSource into a 5,000+ employee behemoth that has no understanding of where we came from and who we are. If I wanted to be 1 of 5,000 without the ability to influence my work environment then I would have started at Cisco or Google.
Pros
free soda was good, salary not bad, pool table, ample parking, pink noise
Cons
hours were crazy, bad bonus structure, no respect for personal time, poorly run meetings,
Advice to Senior Management
sometimes the car (ford) needs a tune up, product management has very poor vision
