    Pros

    Some benefits like company holidays

    Cons

I spend most of my time correcting poor quality work from the India contract team. Management totally ignores employees, once your rate is decided, there is absolutely no room for improvement in pay regardless of what the customer want you to be responsible for. They believe in Cast system in the US.
I will NEVER work for this company again.

The company decides how many deductions will be taken out of your paycheck above and beyond tax liability. Under US law, the practice is considered Wage Theft and unless you get the Department of Labor involved, then your already poor rate will be even more disappointing than you can imagine.

This company is wrought with incompetence and greed in management; avoid giving them any of your hard earned knowledge for low pay. They will steal from your pay.

American companies believe they are getting the same work for less money, but they have to hire americans to correct the work.

    Advice to Management

Go back to India where you belong.

    Most worst company to work,

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Cyient

    Pros

    Upper lavel management is good

    Cons

horrible middle management, no work ethics and business ethics, cheating associate is in their blood, horrible hr and their policies feels Like they're doing personal favour. They cheat USA gov't also, send associate to USA saying on industrial generator, but they get work done on aero engine, their USA pay a pizza delivery boy also laugh in USA. Salary and hike will give based on person not his skills or work.

    Advice to Management

    Don't cheat associate,
Close business and start tea selling or grocery business, not fit to run the company.

    Pros

Company allows for flexibility in schedule and also allows remote work opportunities.

    Cons

No real training is provided. You, basically have to figure it out on your own. Just because you get an above average performance appraisal and take on additional responsibilities, don't expect to be rewarded in raises or promotions. Generally, promotions are based on "who you know" not "what you know or have proven that you can do". Salaries are not structured and managers are allowed to "create" whatever positions they want and decide pay based on nothing. HR department is no help in providing explanation for how raises are determined or why certain benefits only go to certain employees.

    Advice to Management

Change the structure of this company. Create a salary scale where raises and salaries are based on education, experience, and performance instead of allowing individual managers to decide. Also, there is a need for uniform job titles and descriptions across all units. Administrative staff in our office has job titles that are not at other offices and the people who have the exact (if not less) responsibilities are paid more simply because they are given a different title.

    Pros

When you run out of work, or get your work done ahead of schedule, they don't give you anything extra to do. So you can spend a lot of time surfing the web! Most co-workers are friendly and will try to help you in any way they can. Very laid-back environment.

    Cons

Very little if any raises, I have worked here over five years and only make about 6% more than I did 5 years ago. This year we were told we'd get 1.5% raises MAXIMUM. I got 0% and nobody will tel me why I'm being punished. I do a lot more than I am supposed to. Also took many classes that were suggested by management. I guess none of that counts. Disgusting. The "system" they use to evaluate your performance is rigged to make you look bad. "Goals" and "expectations" are vague, and the only communication is via email. They have too much upper, elite management that we never see, but THEY all seem happy and well paid. Management does EVERYTHING via email, you hardly ever see them or talk to them.

    Advice to Management

"If you don't like it here, don't let the door hit your backside on the way out!" seems to be your official slogan. Yet you send out emails saying that employee retention is a problem.... yet you give out 0% raises to some of the smartest and most productive employees. So exactly HOW are you trying to retain people? If you have something important to tell us, don't just send out an email. Face-to-face would be much more effective.
