    Company needs a major overhaul

    Engineer (Former Employee)
    East Hartford, CT

ProsFlex time (work with customer) good entry level position. Good mix of people.

ConsNo accountability in HR department. Pay checks consistently incorrect. Management is only a title. Some unprofessional employees in a small (100-200 person office area)

Advice to Senior ManagementManagers need to be more involved in workplace and just have the management title. HR department needs a major overhaul.

    A spectacular disaster in process

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsSuccessful business with some really well known global customers. Great lateral support across all the technical and business teams. Some of the best thinkers in the industry are in the trenches satisfying clients and winning business head-to-head with larger Indian ESPs.

ConsManagement is well meaning at all levels but have clearly lost their way. Major senior/middle management changes have added new people, policies, and strategies completely out of sync with the values that used to motivate us. Talented people are leaving in mass or simply being shut down and rendered ineffective. New organization design, structure and operations have been like a mud icing on a beautiful cake leaving us lost, frustrated and disillusioned.

The salary and benefits were always poor but the work used to be worth it when a big win would lift everyone's finances and spirits. Good news has been missing for about 3 years and replaced by leadership politics instead of effective action.

I wish I had been able to write a better review. Those days are gone now.

Advice to Senior ManagementBVR Mohan Reddy must clean this up personally. He built an organization I used to be proud of. Unfortunately he also initiated the changes that led to our current predicament. His preparations for retirement have not served Infotech's interests internally or with its customers.

Most inept HR I've ever encountered, leadership is apathetic and treats employees like a herd of cattle.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Hartford, CT

ProsFlexibility with schedule. Despite some unprofessional behaving colleagues, there are some folks who are good, honest employees and a joy to work with.

ConsHR is sorely dysfunctional. If I could I would give them a 0/5 stars for functionality - both in terms of doing their job with employees but also supporting management in effectively running the business. There are no advancement opportunities, either in terms of pay or position. Learning new skills are acquired by hook or crook. Middle management is condescending and distant.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't sit on your laurels. The virus of apathy has swept through the ranks of this company, as a survival mechanism due to a culture that does not appear to value ethics or it's people. This does not bode well for long-term growth of the company. There needs to be an overhaul of HR and an overhaul of the corporate culture in which trust and ethics are established and instituted. It seems Information flows have slowed to a trickle and resistance to implementation of corporate program changes are high. Lack of information flows and lack of adoption for corporate initiatives will drag down the fiscal performance of the company. Perhaps fix the culture of distrust first, then tackle the initiatives - long term fiscal performance will be easier to obtain and sustain.
