Employees are appreciated and there is great potential for growth.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsExecutive team values employees and looks to promote from within as the company continues to grow. Employee appreciation and recognition at a company-wide level is good for morale and leads to continued success. Opportunities abound for anyone willing to work smart and hard.

ConsWork-life balance is difficult as the company continues to grow at an increasingly rapid pace. Office politics at the corporate level are unnecessarily brutal at times, especially with middle management. Salaries are not so great for independent-thinking female employees and training is hardly provided as on-the-job learning is highly encouraged.

Advice to Senior ManagementLeadership and management are two distinct thought processes which can breed loyalty if the two are successfully implemented within teams. Throughout middle management (directors, mostly) there should be more emphasis placed on leadership training and team building.

Most challenging, rewarding position I have ever held!

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsSolid, ethical, growing, nimble and incredibly talented organization with brilliant leadership. CyraCom International is fast becoming the industry leader, actively supports the populations it serves and effectively balances employee and client needs. The organization appropriately and responsibly allocates resources. Employees share financially in the company's success.

ConsMany competing "top priority" projects sometimes causes confusion. Majority of employees do not understand how their specific role and their contributions impact the organization and the organization's clients.

Advice to Senior ManagementEmployees need to have effective communication and insight into how their specific role contributes to the overall success of the organization. This vision and mission must be ingrained at every level of the organization.

    Weak executive and senior leadership.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThe work you do is meaningful. The product helps people make educated healthcare decisions. They offer a full suite of benefits to all employees and heavily subsidize the health insurance.

ConsWeak executive and senior leadership lead to no clear direction. Turnover is high at all levels which leads to a toxic culture.

Advice to Senior ManagementCommunicate with your employees and let them know how the company is performing. Encourage employees to contribute and value their feedback.

Horrible company, record profits at the negative expense of their employees

    Spanish Interpreter (Current Employee)
    Phoenix, AZ

ProsHealth insurance for full time employees is ok. Slow call volume for languages other than spanish. Paid 15 minute breaks. Once a week, they will have food catered to the office (don't be surprised if it runs out before get to try it) Lots of overtime hours available if you need them.

ConsFlexible hours are non existent. Scheduling always the same and they refuse to let you change your schedule. If you have a Dr's note or are a student be prepared to be denied.

Compensation is $11.50/hr which is very low for the amount of mental stress that you have to put up with. There are not enough employees to meet the call volume. Almost every employee can work overtime if they want. Most employees get burnt out within 2-3 months. When you request a day off, don't expect to get it approved because they are already short on workers. When you walk in, you'll notice that all the employees look like zombies from being over worked.

Since most employees can't handle more than a few months of working there, they find a better job or just quit because they can't get the days off that they need. This is seriously the worst company I have ever worked for, the sad thing is that there is so much potential but the company refuses to change their ways. As long as there are people looking for a job, they will continue to suck up their soul and discard them when they hire someone else. If you are thinking of working for Cyracom, don't do it! You will regret it, I promise. You can ask ANY employee or past employee.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire and train more spanish interpreters or invest in robots because that is exactly how you treat them! Give them time off when they need it. Employees have families and a life outside the cubicle.
