Current Employee – been working at D&B
Pros – Good work/life balance, decent vacation time and above average benefits, especially good health insurance. Decent pay with annual increases. Generally friendly work environment
Cons – Not overly competent senior management which seems to change it strategy constantly. Innovation is not taken very seriously and new product development is lagging. Lots of "lifers" who make it hard for new people to grow.
Advice to Senior Management – Putting everybody in a cubicle doesn't create a "winning culture" , try to be different and replenish your product pipeline, otherwise the competition will eat you alive

Current Employee – been working at D&B
Pros – Talented people
Interesting projects
Great work flexibility
Cons – Pressure to meed unrealistic targets.
Constant pressure to build pipeline.
Management seems out of touch with front line sale people.
Advice to Senior Management – Management needs to get a plan and have everybody on board. Upper management tends to follow a "carrot and stick" approach, where they keep dangling the carrot further out and whips with a bigger stick.

Current Employee – been working at D&B
Pros – people, can make nice commission but not consistently, brand
Cons – failing technology, growth model is broken, poor senior leadership
Advice to Senior Management – pay your people to stick out the "MaxCV" transformation...you are going to loose all your good talent before you have enough good products on the truck for them to sell

Current Employee – been working at D&B
Pros – Job Flexibility, work from home ability
Autonomous work for the most part
Average Commute
Cons – No professional growth opportunities
No mentoring/coaching of employees
Low morale workplace
Horrible turnover of Global Leadership Team - with the exception of the CEO, practically no one at the highest level, has been with D&B for more than 5 years! The company is 100+ years old!
Advice to Senior Management – Understand that Sales only comes from Relationships...learn that you need to be a steward of your customers' needs first, shareholders' pockets 2nd...
Get some GLT Bench Strength and tenure...if there is any chance left.
Realize that you have competent sales teams, but not competent leadership to guide them.

Current Employee – been working at D&B
Pros – They pay a competitive salary.
They seem to be concerned with employee health and well-being.
Good bonus program for most employees.
Cons – Management is solely focused on costs without regard for long term strategy. They still think that the data is going to be a big advantage in the future. They will do anything and everything to 'make the numbers' each quarter. There is little creative thought from senior leaders.
Advice to Senior Management – Think beyond the size of the database as a competitive advantage. Find products that benefit customers instead of worrying about costs.
