    Positive Outlook

I worked at D3 Air & Space Operations full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very supportive of family functions. So many great people to work with. Very veteran friendly!

    Cons

While my pay was $42,000/year, the pay was based on an hourly rate for 40 hours/week. There were no sick days either, so a day missed due to illness had to be made up by working long hours upon return to work.

    Advice to Management

I would suggest that the admin support positions contracted to the Air Force be changed to true salary rather than hourly wages.

  2. Great mid tier contracting company

I have been working at D3 Air & Space Operations as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Very friendly staff The hr person was excellent, always helpful

    Cons

Like all small contracting companies, their health insurance plan is expensive. Originally they did not offer insurance at all but they continue to improve.

    Advice to Management

Be more clear with job descriptions and day to day tasks. Though it was not a problem, I walked into the job expecting something different

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at D3 Air & Space Operations as a contractor

    Pros

Benefits are not terrible. They didn't cut my pay when they won the contract.

    Cons

Pretty much no room for advancement. Short term contracts. Vulnerability to government shutdown.

    Advice to Management

    Consider a modest pay raise.
