Pros

It is a family, and they'll take care of their own. They see key people and resources, and will make sure they get what they need. When you have the right manager and team, it makes all the difference. If you have the opportunity to work here - take it.

Cons

The company is primarily sales based. When sales decline, the company tightens its belt. They're obviously not alone, but it doesn't make it any easier.

Advice to Senior Management

The company must succeed, of course, but remember the people that help get you there.

Pros

Friendly people. The company itself is geared to expect superior performance from its employees. And they give dynomite parties, with really odd scavenger items ("First man up here wearing women's high heeled shoes....)

Cons

If you are not actually working at the main office, it is not always clear that someone is looking out for you. I felt as though I wasn't seeing my "control" frequently enough (and may have been out of the loop for some time).

Advice to Senior Management

I would suggest that they look to the staff that is off-site, to make sure that their needs are being considered. Regular review of contract conditions before contract renewal would probably be a really good idea. Have more parties for the whole company -- they are wonderful!
